We used S&G Discount Carpet in San Jose for floor coverings (both WilsonArt laminate and carpet). The people at S&G are extremely knowledgeable, low-pressure, and very flexible. They have a list of preferred contractors as well. I called six of the laminate contractors on their list for bids (we had a couple of bids that were way out of range), and all but one were very professional and knowledgeable. There were three that we would have been very happy with. We ended up using Richard Harmon Flooring to replace the aging vinyl in our kitchen with WilsonArt laminate). They did an excellent job, and their price was mid-range in the bids we got.

We used Rick Harmon again last weekend to carpet our guest cottage. Again, the price was good, and they did a great job. I called in the order to S&G, and they picked up the materials and hauled away all of the old flooring both times.
