Subj: Oneida Drive "Save the Wall" campaign From: [email protected] (Rich Geib) I live in Blossom Valley and, while out walking the dog early yesterday morning, I noticed flyers posted at the intersection where Ute Drive intersects with Oneida Drive that said "Save the Wall on Oneida Drive." Naturally curious, I walked the length of Oneida Drive to discover that this particular street ends in a cul-de-sac with a large wall fully enclosing the cul-de-sac. I pulled myself up (with much effort) and peaked over the wall. There was some open space beyond the wall and immediately behind the shopping plaza with the Burger King and Lupe's Taqueria. As a nearby homeowner (I live on Choctaw Drive), does anyone know anything about this Oneida Drive "Save the Wall" issue? If something is going to be built on Oneida, I'd be interested in knowing what it is because Choctaw Drive is just around the corner from Oneida. Thanks for any info that anyone has. Sincerely, |
