One of the reasons I posted the previous question about the railroad on Monterey Hwy behind Avenida Rotella, was that someone told me there have been a number of train delrailments on Monterey near Skyway.

Has this been the case behind Avenida Rotella? When we moved here, no one told us about derailing train cars in their backyards or crashing into their houses, yet after we moved here some people raised this concerned to me. Has this been a problem/issue?

Any information you have would be appreciated.
