Subj: Problem w/ VTA light rail ticket machines? From: [email protected] (Eugene Bradley) We are doing an investigation on VTA's light rail ticket vending machines and their (in)ability to make change. We noticed this since VTA raised one-way fares to $1.40 back in July. Amongst the symptoms: VTA's ticket machines will NOT give you change unless you insert $1.65 into the machine. Has anyone had this experience at any of the South San Jose light rail stations (i.e. from Virginia south) where VTA's light rail ticket machines won't give you change? Eugene Bradley |
