Do we really need another playground? As a lifetime resident of South San Jose, I would rather see the foothills left alone. Why is there a need to keep on building. There are enough playgrounds at other parks and schools for that matter. My idea of fun when growing up was card board sliding down the hillside at Cahalen park or cleaning stalls at the local stable in exchange for riding lesson. The playground is nothing more than a babysitter and keeping the park in a natural state encourages more interaction with both the parents and the kids. What about a community garden or something agricultural?

This post was referencing the Pyzak property development. [SAS]
