The Campbell Highland Games and Celtic Festival will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2001 from 9AM-5PM. This is a VERY FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENT. I am currently recruiting volunteers to help us set up on Friday, 6/15, from 6-9AM on Saturday morning, 9AM-4PM to help sell tickets, sell t-shirts & programs, sell soda & corn dogs, or work at the beer sales, security, assist athletes with heavy equipment (cabers, etc.) help in the children's area, MOSTLY WE NEED HELP CLEANING UP FROM 4pm-whenever we finish.

We only ask for 2 hours of your time - morning, during the event or in the evening. Bring the whole family to help for a couple of hours and then the rest of the day is yours. Come to the event first and then stay to help us clean up. We know you will be hooked on this. This is a family environment.

If you are interested in attending the event, tickets are (at the gate): General $10; Seniors (60+ or youths 8-18) $8.00; 7 and under free. Family ticket is $30 for 2 adults and unlimited minors. For $2.00 of gate price (excpect the family ticket), order your tickets from Dick Combie at 578.0929 or send him an e-mail at [email protected]. Deadline for tix @ pre-sale prices is June 8.
