Looking for a way to make education work? Have a look at the Edenvale School site under the "Schools" section of this website. Sharon and I were able to donate $200.00 toward a scholarship for a former Edenvale student who is now ready for college. The young woman overcame a learning disability and worked much harder than the average student to succeed...and she DID succeed. Our modest contribution will assist her in her college career at DeAnza College in the Fall.
If you're looking for a way to help kids who want and need help, consider a contribution. It doesn't cost much and the returns are amazing. Over $40,000 in scholarships were awarded last week at the annual ceremony at Edenvale and we were impressed by the enthusiasm of the 40+ students receiving this community assistance.
