If you prefer not getting porch flyers, then call the city Business License department at 277-5051. Ask to be added to the roster. When a business wants to deliver flyers, they SHOULD get a license. They get the list of folks who prefer not to get the flyers. Wait to give time for your name to be distributed, then when I got flyers I would call and let them know that there was a list and they needed a license. I know it had some effect as I started seeing the businesses use other advertising methods later.
