Edenvale School off Monterey Road has an outstanding program to assist kids in continuing their education. It's called Adopt-a-College. Students at the elementary level "adopt" a college and contact a student at a particular institution. Letters are sent, t-shirts and sweatshirts are received and displayed, and students are urged to continue on to college or other educational opportunities. Interested? I would be glad to elaborate.
