Subj: feedback: Miyuki Dog Park From: [email protected] The City has fenced and sign-posted Miyuki Dog Park. It's really an "off-leash" dog park, which is important, but probably goes without saying. The location is at the north end of Miyuki Drive off Santa Teresa Blvd., not quite right to say it's on Santa Teresa Blvd. As of today (04/03) it has double-gate entrance, poop-bag dispensers, poop-scoop utensils, garbage cans, two benches, plastic water bowl and tennis ball container. (Some items City-installed, some user-donated.) The City will NOT be putting in water because the cost of drainage facilities would be prohibitive. Dog owners should bring their own water and bowl. UNTIL A PLACE CAN BE FOUND TO KEEP A MIYUKI DOG PARK PAGE, I have included Miyuki Dog Park on my "dog parks page" at Dave Schultheis -- mailto:[email protected] - http://www.accesscom.com/~dave6592 |
