Subj: Re: Re: Re: IBM Mess I've been invited to a local neighborhood meeting at the South San Jose Senior Center but was not able to attend. I live near the construction site I don't understand why a Lowes is being built when OSH and Home Depot are so close by. I'm apposed to having Day Workers hanging around the parking lot just like at Home Depot on Blossom Hill Rd. I also heard rumor that more apartment complexes will be built there as well. I'm apposed to that because with apartment complexes they usually bring over crowdedness and high turn over of residence. I prefer a stable environment with homes and pride of ownership. Why couldnt the site be used for some high-end homes like in Silver Creek Valley. I feel that if an apartment complex is built it may look nice because its new if its built with character but will get run-down quickly. A lot of times un-supervised youth and there friends bring trouble after school lets out and I'm afraid the neighborhood will get run-down quickly, just like the apartment complex on Lean Ave and Blossom Hill. I foresee myself having to leave the neighborhood as it will not provide a safe living enviromnemt to raise a family here in the future I hope Im wrong My comments |
