My husband and I are considering purchasing a home on Tulare Hill. We're concerned about living so close to the new Power Plant,Calpine. Our concern stems from the possiblity of an earthquake and ammonia from the power plant getting into the air. It appears to be a state-of-the-art facility but the home we are looking at is within .5 miles of the plant. We are concerned about a toxic leak and the 7 schools that are located within 3 miles of the facility.

We'd love some advice.
