As a homeowner I often find myself staring perplexedly at things like frozen valves below bathroom sinks and thinking to myself - it would be great to attend a basic plumbing 101 type class where one could learn how to unfreeze valves (called angle joints by plumbers) and other minor things for which you don't feel compelled to call in a professional.

I'd be willing to swap my experiences in computers/networking/resume writing in return for learning basic skills in plumbing. I figure each of has has some skill that would be valuable to others..
