Over the past week they (SBC?) have been tearing up the streets in our area (Los Pinos Way), and (I think) laying new cables. Anyway, they had to tear up they sidewalks to run cable from the street to the junction boxes. We were out for a walk this evening, and noticed that they've replaced the removed cement with ASPHALT! Nice ugly strips of black asphalt about every block along the sidewalks! Not very nice looking at all.

Does anyone know if they are planning on putting actual concrete back in these areas?
