Subj: Cisco Systems campus feedback From: [email protected] I favor the development of the Cisco campus. The South San Jose area for whatever reason has seen much slower growth in high tech companies. It makes good sense for land use planning, and to start to reduce congestion on our freeways to have some of the traffic at the rush hour go in the opposite direction. Appropriate mitigation of traffic impacts in the area is required, for example additional freeway widening, and new interchanges at Bailey-101 and perhaps and major cross road between 101 and Monterey road at Schallenberger (now called Golf Links). Based on early presentations, the management at Cisco appear to recognize these needs, and I applaud them. Cisco will be a very good neighbor and I personally welcome them! R F Williams |
