Cisco is to the local area like an anchor store is to a mall. It will attract smaller businesses and start the ball rolling for developmemnt of the area. Anti-growth groups may oppose development but it seems inevitable. We cannot stop the Bay Area from growing. Instead, let's take this opportunity to influence development so that it is done intelligently with preservation of the environment and other social benefits in mind.
