Reverse Commute? What is that all about?

Do you guys really think that enough people will quit their jobs in the North Valley and switch to a job in the South Valley and consequentially balance the commute?

What's really going to happen is that there will be new jobs, and new people. Most of these newcomers will live south of San Jose or in the Central Valley. That means more people coming up 101. The rest of the people, who manage to find a house in the North Valley, will just add to any traffic going south.

Whether they're coming from the north or south doesn't matter. Either way, the South Valley will receive thousands of new vehicles on the roads, and gridlock will spread. The scary thing is, Cisco will only be the beginning.
