Subj: News on police shooting of a neighhbor From: [email protected] (Steve Foley) Any news on the father that was shot to death by SJPD on 12/22 at 5:45am on Hercus Court? ( I believe that the family name was Sharp...) I heard a full clip (8 rounds) of what was clearly a police revolver fired with no other gunfire preceding it. A respected father was gunned down in front of his children. Merry Christmat! I have heard that the police stated that he had made threatening gestures toward one child with the claws of a hammer. My question is how the police would dare shoot an individual holding a hostage? I am pretty sure they are supposed to be equipped with bean-bag guns. Seems that only a gun would call for a fulll-out homicidal defense on the part of our "beloved" police department I'd like to know more about it, and how the neigborhood feels. Steve Foley |
