Just a reminder -- some neighbors are stopping by the Senior apartments (6250 Santa Teresa Blvd.) today @ 3:00 to give rides to any seniors who want to go grocery shopping. Any one who wants to help out, be there around 3:00.

The folks who have gone shopping with us in past weeks have been so grateful, it is scary to think what they would be doing for food otherwise. And all of us who have driven have really, really enjoyed the experience. My kids look forward to Saturdays and feel that they are doing something worthwhile and important when they help the seniors get food.

It's not always easy to know what to do in life, but this one is a no-brainer; we are there every Saturday at 3:00; plan to stop by and participate.

Luckys and Wilson-Duckett have a similar mall in Dublin that was vacant for about 2 years before a furniture store came in about 1.5 years ago. Rents in the mall are about 50% of market rates, which attracts lower quality tennants. Let's keep up the pressure to not let this happen to our local mall.
