My wife and I are new homeowners in Santa Teresa (March 1999), and would like to review or obtain any copies of the environmental documents or plans for this project. We've only been in our home for about four months and did not know about this plant while we were in escrow.

I am an Associate Planner for the Town of Los Gatos and am quite well versed in the review of these types of documents for projects. My wife and I are very interested in reviewing these documents to formulate an opinion on this project and cannot rely or the sporadic accuracy of thee information that is found in the Mercury News. Based on what these documents and this information reveals, I may be able to volunteer time to your organization or at a minimum provide a third party commentary on some of these land use.

Please feel free to call me at the following or e-mail a response:

Sincerely,

Erwin & Ana Ordonez

There is a copy of the Application for Certification (AFC) that Calpine submitted to the California Energy Commission (CEC) on April 30, 1999 in the Santa Teresa branch library which is right by Santa Teresa Hospital. I believe the community would welcome even more trained eyes on this document.[SAS]
