As taxpayers of San Jose County, and owners of a home in south San Jose area, namely, Santa Teresa neigborhood, we do not want to have Calpine build a power plant in our area. We do not want more smog being released into our atmosphere, which could cause respiratory illnesses for our families. In addition, this will lower the value of our residence. No one likes to see two smokestacks rising over the horizon instead of our beautiful hills.
