Subj: Cisco Systems Feedback From: [email protected] A few years ago, Tandem Computers was going to develop that same area. They found that there were severe drainage problems. Seems to me that hasn't changed so just where will the ground water and runoff go? Also, how does Cisco plan to get 20,000 employees in and out of the valley everyday without making our roads impassable? Traffic congestion on 101 is already bad and Monterey Road isn't much better. What will happen to our residential streets and Santa Teresa Blvd.? When will the City of San Jose stop promoting uncontrolled and unsupported growth? We are hearing concerns about water shortages - where will the water come from? Just as building a power plant in our community is not the answer to the power shortage in our State, Cisco building a campus here will only degrade the quality of life here more, not improve it! H.
