We adopted a pair of black and white kittens back in April. They were siblings and very close to each other, always grooming each other and sleeping cuddled up to each other.

In mid to late July (exact date escapes me) one of them disappeared and has not been seen since. The other one has been despondent without him. We have put up signs around the neighborhood and asked around but no one has seen him. We've hoped that someone adopted him, but that seems odd considering he was wearing a collar with a tag with our number on it. We live in the Foothills Apartments near the intersection of Cottle and Santa Teresa.

Here's his description: His name is Flopsy. He is a short haired black and white now almost 6-month old male kitten (born February 25), unneutered (we had to cancel the neuter appointment because he disappeared), and has a purple collar with a tag on it that says "Flopsy, San Jose, CA, 408-363-1706".

Please contact me if you have seen him. If you have taken him in, we (the family and his sister) would really appreciate having him back... Please do the right thing. If you've seen a dead cat (God forbid) fitting his description, we'd also like to know. We're going to check with the Humane Society as well.
