several weeks ago as i was driving from alric and cottle toward santa teresa, i saw a little dog run (chihuahua) out from a side street somewheres in the range of los pinos--give or take a block and on the other side of cottle (southside) and a young woman later running and looking. i had turned my car around to rescue the dog and asked if she wanted a ride since he was several blocks down, but she declined saying she didn't know me. i had thought she was an adult, but perhaps she was younger. i went back as far as curie and a couple reported the dog near the church , but when i rode back the young woman was gone.

last week i was walking my dog and a a skinny little dog, same breed, came barking at us around sponson and cottle. i went back with food and finally another neighbor took him. she said he was skin and bones and i am thinking that he may be that same dog, lost several weeks before.

anyone living on the other side of cottle (i'm on alric) know of anyone missing this animal? i told the woman who saved him, i would let her know. they thought he (she?) belonged to someone else and rumor has it, the dog's been hanging around.awhile. she had thought he was abused, but maybe just very lost.
