I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but last Thursday (8/22/02) after our usual garbage pickup, someone took our giant recycling cart. It was gone by 5 p.m. that same day. I have no idea why someone would steal a recycling cart, and I had hoped a neighbor took ours in by mistake, but it seems to be gone for good.

As a precaution, you may want to write your street address or put some other identifying marks on your bin! I had my cart for such a short time, I didn't have a chance to do it myself.
