I just wanted to inform everyone that there has been a string of thefts occurring in the Santa Teresa area - close to Bernal Rd. Someone broke into our truck and stole my husband's laptop (sony) and case, and other miscellaneous items last weekend. The San Jose Police Department informed us of the thefts around the neighborhood when we went to pick up one of our items. They said that the items were found at Julia Baldwin Elementary School by a custodian. If you've been a victim of these crimes, please call San Jose Police to see if they have any of your items.

I'd hate to think that these thefts were done neighborhood children. Please be aware and keep all your doors locked always!!
