Sometime during the week of 2/7/2000, the First Lady Spa on Cottle Rd, without warning,

CLOSED it's doors. My wife joined the spa on 1/14/2000 and paid for a year in advance.

She had not yet had a chance to use the Spa due to their pool being closed. I saw an employee of the Spa leaving the building on about 2/10/2000 and she told me that the staff had just been informed that they were closing for good.

I have since placed calls to the First Lady Spa headquarters in Dublin, and have called all of the other locations (Fremont, Mountain View) and have received no answers or call-backs.

I was informed by a police woman investigating an alarm at the spa on 2/14/2000 that the spa was probably going to declare bankrupcy.

Has anyone else heard anything? Does anyone know who we can get ahold of in an attempt to recover our money?
