Subj: Re: Lucky From: [email protected] We tried the new Super Lucky and still go there occasionally. Our
primary store, however, is the Nob Hill in Santa Teresa Village. The
staff there is always friendly and helpful and the selection is pretty
good overall..and always of good quality. I had hoped that the Raley's
takeover would not have an effect, and it appears that it hasn't. I
think Raley's has a good reputation for quality and service, so the
"marriage" of two quality chains can't hurt.
I also notice that the parking lot at the new Lucky is not overly
crowded...at least not after the initial burst of enthusiasm. This might
change as new businesses open at the center.
We also wondered about the seniors across from the old Lucky. They can
buy some food products at Rite-Aid - or whatever atrocious name the old
Thrifty chain chooses to use now - but the seclection is limited and I
suspect that the prices are high. Kudos for those providing
transportation...hopefully to Nob Hill!
