Subj: Light rail parking From: Tony Hi, I was wondering if someone might be able to give me some advice. I live on the Central Coast and will be driving up to San Jose soon to catch a flight. I am not familiar with San Jose airport, so I went onto the web to try to find out what my options might be for parking. I discovered that you can park for free at light rail stations and ride to the airport. Does anyone have any experience with this? In particular I am wondering: 1. Will I be able to find a parking place on a Friday afternoon at around 2pm? Since I will be coming up Hwy 101, I thought the Cottle station would be the most convenient to go to, but if another station would be better, I'd love to hear about it. 2. What about crime? What is the chance that when I come back after 5 days my car will still be there and be in one piece? Thanks a lot in advance for any help, |
