On Saturday August 14th 2004 the residents of Kaneko Drive held the 1st annual Neighbor Day block party. The street was closed between Pemba Dr. and Kona Place. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs where BBQ'd, way to much food was brought to share, and a water slide was available for the kids. The neighbors spent the day talking and getting to know each other. It was a great day with the exception of one water slide accident. Everyone is already talking about doing it again next year!
