Subj: Cisco Systems campus feedback From: [email protected] I don't support the Cisco expansion. Every time a development proposal comes up, it's supported with the argument of JOBS, JOBS, JOBS. But we don't have HOUSING, HOUSING, HOUSING to support those workers. Plus, the environmental impacts are irreversible. Maybe this proposal doesn't, in itself, cause significant environmental deterioration. But, at some point we have to look at the cumulative effect of each incremental development proposal. We don't have a lot of open space left, folks. We have to hold the line somewhere. And the poor residents of Morgan Hill and Gilroy, whose lifestyles will forever be changed by such a development... they don't deserve that either. |
