Subj: Coyote Valley Development Feedback From: [email protected] The Coyote Valley Development proposal was always a very wishy-washy proposal, primary driven by big development capital interest. This has proven to be so. When Cisco backed out, the whole project collapses. The City is interested in continuing to built this area because it increases their tax base. They will fill this area up with crowded housing, narrow streets, strip joints, and whatever commercial developments they can squeeze in. The era of open space, greeen gentle rolling foothills, walk-paths, vanishing endangered spices, and verdant valley's in the South San Jose Community is almost gone. Unless, we, individually and collectively move quickly and rapidly to reverse the action that the City of San Jose has taken. There needs to be a petition drive, a change in the City Council's vote on this matter, and/or a ballot measure to permanently keep this area open, green, and uncluttered. The people can move mountains. With investment, dedication, and unified voices we can be successful. I am ready jump into this frey. Anyone with me? Roy Jimenez [email protected] |
