Subj: Lucky Space (PLEASE POST MY FEEDBACK - THANK YOU!)
From: [email protected]

KUDOS to you for creating this incredibly well-thought out web site for those of us who live in this area. Just knowing I can communicate with other neighbors (albiet, neighbors I've never met and might not ever meet), makes me feel a much higher sense of community (much higher!).

I am also glad to see Lucky go. One of the big stores had to crumble before we could get the opportunity we have now to transform our neighborhood center (higher property values are what we need and deserve!).

The problem with a Lunardi or Consentino store, is that they would have too much in common with Knob Hill. A Whole Foods store offers the same items as a regular supermarket, but also offers alternatives to those who wish to purchase items that are organic or semi-organic - plus information is given re the items bought (i.e., chemicals, antibiotics and pesticides in meat products, etc). You have real choices with regard to your own personal health. In addition, Whole Foods offers "real time" food - a comprehensive deli with wonderful tasting foods and beverages that are made fresh every day. Bread products are also fresh and, as in Los Gatos, fresh coffee products can be served (please, we don't need another Starbucks in the area - I believe one is going into the new center along with the new Luckys @ the Bernal site).

Food for thought - Dana Thomas, Curie Drive
