Subj: Lucky's Survey From: [email protected] Well folks, I'm bearish on the proposals I've read so far on the shopping center. I think the site should be bulldozed and replaced with apartments, condos, or professional offices. Any effort to make the center more attractive will naturally intensify the already ridiculous and dangerous traffic patterns. Trader Joe's? Get real. The one on Almaden is what, 15 minutes away? Whole Foods? Check out the demographics of their newest locations in this area (Los Gatos & Cupertino). I don't think we do those numbers in this area. Question: What is planned for the open space behind the Chevron station-- on the northeast quadrant of the ST/Cottle? Jim Cosgrove |
