Subj: coyote valley development should be halted Coyote Valley is still a beautiful area. It is one of the last remaining "open" spaces in South San Jose. There is really no reason to start significant development in that area until all the vacant land and run down, unoccupied buildings further north in San Jose and the peninsula are redeveloped. I realize that open land is cheaper to develop, but we are quickly becoming Los Angeles of northern California. We need to preserve open space for the use of all citizens, not convert Coyote Valley into the San Fernando Valley - urban sprawl, smog and a poor quality of life. |
