Subj: MEC approved during false crisis
From: [email protected]

http://biz.yahoo.com/rb/031113/utilities_elpaso_1.html

El Paso just agreed to a $1.6 BILLION settlement, arising from accusations that it was manipulating the natural gas market, creating false shortages and havoc in the electricity generation sector, all at the same time MEC was approved.

Of course they admit no wrongdoing, but that's an awful lot of nothing. Don't waste your time looking for this story in the Mercury News it is apparently not newsworthy.
