Subj: Calpine power plant feedback From: [email protected] I'm very concerned about the health of my family and our resale values with a powerplant so close to our home and school. IBM and the hospital give us more than enough toxins in our air. My husband and son already suffer from asthma. I would not move into this area if I was looking for a home if the powerplant were here. I can't believe Cisco would want that ugly thing as a neighbor. We saw what the Fairchild plant did for resale values. Now when we have some good things going for us like hwy.85/101 acess, light rail, fineally more stores and resturants let's have them screw us again! This along with a no vote on the school bond could really cost us alot of lost resale value. susan verdon |
