Subj: Calpine Power Plant From: [email protected] I am against moving the power plant into our community. I live in Morgan Hill and extremely concerned about the gasses sitting in the valley on hot summer days when there is no wind. I think we should also be concerned about the land. If this were to get into the soil, what would it do to the farm land out in that area? I don't want my children living in a community where I have to worry about respiratory problems or black smoke if there were an explosion. Can't we learn from the disaster at Fairchild. We came here because we did not want to live in Benicia or Martinez. |
