Subj: Cisco campus website
From: [email protected] (MHG)

Dear Neighbors:

I want to invite you to visit the website for Coyote Valley Research Park, Cisco Systems' new campus in San Jose's North Coyote Valley Campus Industrial Area.

Envisioned as San Jose's premier high-tech office and R&D campus environment, the North Coyote Valley Campus Industrial Area has been designated in San Jose's General Plan and Master Planned for the past 16 years for world-class corporate campuses.

North Coyote Valley has been and remains a critical part of San Jose's economic development strategy intended to provide an expanded tax base to improve neighborhood and community services such as police and fire protection, as well as parks and libraries for San Jose residents. North Coyote Valley has also been and remains an integral part of San Jose growth management strategy, a strategy specifically designed to locate jobs close to existing and planned housing, balance jobs and housing in San Jose and the region, encourage reverse and shorter commutes, promote transit opportunities on Caltrain and VTA Light Rail, and direct development inside San Jose's Urban Growth Boundary (UGB)/"Greenline". Cisco's campus is exactly the type of use designated in San Jose's General Plan and Master Plan for the area.

Cisco was attracted to North Coyote Valley for these reasons and plans to invest nearly $1.3 Billion in the corporate campus in South San Jose. Please visit website (web link no longer valid) for information and updates about Cisco's new campus. If you have any questions or need additional information, please don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected] or 408-293-7680.
