Subj: Missing Animals From: Kelly Should you have a missing animal of any sort please be sure you contact San Jose animal care & Services/ San Martine Humane Society as well as Santa Clara. Depending on where your animal has been picked up such as a county park or in a certain area will determine where they will be taken. County park finds have been known to be taken down to San Martine. I personally take lost dogs to San Jose Animal Care & Services. I have found at least 10 dogs wondering the streets hungry/tired & lost. I will advise that on every occassion there is an individual whom has brought in Feral cats because they have gone out of their way to set up traps. Please know that the cat over-population is worse than the dog over-population. The Humane Society as well as individuals are trying to eleviate this problem. Please keep your cats safe by all means necessary. |
